We use SmartECart, a highly configurable, database
driven shopping cart program that can store thousands
of products.
It is designed to be easy enough for an E-commerce beginner to set up, but
has flexibility to allow experienced web designers to use their
creativity.
There are two
versions of
SmartECart.
The standard version supports up to 200 items. SmartECart Pro
offers support of up to 1000 items.
SmartECart
Pro also supports real-time credit card processing using
AuthorizeNet™
as an Internet
Payment Gateway. It provides you with a way to take credit card
orders on your site and give your customers a
user-friendly way to quickly find and purchase the
items or services they want.
With online transactions
processed by either version of
SmartECart,
shopping on your site will be quick, automated and profitable.
Both versions of
SmartECart

- 200 Email Addresses, with alias forwarding and autoresponders and
mailing lists.

SmartECart
Standard and Pro:

SmartECart automatically computes shipping charges and
sales tax according to rates established in the admin interface.

Shoppers can login to view the status of their order online, update
their shipping or billing information, or print invoices.

SmartECart can track inventory as an option so customers will only be
able to purchase available stock.

Additional user-defined pages can be added within the SmartECart
template to provide shoppers with additional information (ex. Privacy
Policy, shipping instructions, etc.).

Product listing supports SKU, weight, height, length, short and long
descriptions, thumbnail and full images, as well as additional
user-defined attributes.

Search, browse, and "Featured Products" listings enable shoppers to
quickly and easily find products.

Credit card numbers only accepted through PGP encryption (Note: this may
require additional PGP commercial-use license.), unless you are using
AuthorizeNet.com (in which case you can integrate it with your
AuthorizeNet account).

Three levels of log-in allow admin, employees, and shoppers appropriate
level of access.

Shoppers' IP addresses recorded when they place their order.

Easy-to-use IP address lookup feature provided to verify the identity of
